Katie & Tom - Part 2!!!!!

Katie and Tom's Wedding was booked a full year in advance and after our initial meeting with Katie, we were honestly counting the minutes until their big day. To say that Katie & Tom were a DREAM to work with would be an understatement.  They are not only incredibly kind people, but dang do they know how to work a camera :)

We were drooling over the amazingness that is St. George's Church and couldn't wait to get our stunning Bride & Groom in front of these doors.

Katie has a wonderful bond with her niece and nephew who served as flower girl and ring bearer. We must say they were some of the best kiddos we have worked with too.

We LOVED the Charlie's Angels pose :) Fits well into what Katie does for a living.

We absolutely LOVED this wedding party! They were so easy to work with and their personalities made them absolutely delightful to shoot. This is our favorite group wedding party shot ever!

The florals were just breath taking! Great job by "Blooms by Jenny Seitz".....some of our favorite florals yet. Can you tell we had lot of favorites take place at this wedding :)

The infamous yellow wall :) We spent a day scouting locations for this wedding and were flippin ecstatic when we came across this yellow wall. 

We ended our creative shooting at Lafayette Square were they continued to rock it like Vogue Models :)

Katie's adorable freckles and to die-for eyelashes....perfect combo!

Let the party begin!! Reception time! The stunning florals continued to wow everyone even at the reception.

 We were very thankful for the 4 hour window between the ceremony and the reception that allowed us to really create the images that we wanted to for Katie and Tom.  We are absolutely in love with everything we captured that day!

What can we say that we haven't said to you 100 times already. You guys are 

one in a million and it is a huge honor to have been chosen to work with

you on your wedding day. We are even more honored by your friendship

and kindness you have shown us over the past year. We always strive to treat our

clients like friends, but you two made that so incredibly easy.

We adore you!! And we know we will be there to capture all the other big

moments in your life, including your 50th wedding anniversary :)

Tom & Katie - Part One

Katie and Tom, we can not say enough to even begin to describe how much we loved every single minute of this Wedding! The moment we met Katie we felt like we were hanging with a long lost girlfriend. Katie is a shining star, seriously the girl lights up a room and makes everyone around her feel special. She is just an amazing person and we feel lucky not only to have been her Wedding Photographers but also to now call her friend. These two are completely crazy about each other, in a breath taking amazingly beautiful way. When we were on our way home Kelly and I both looked at each other and said, they are going to be married for the next 60+ years....no doubt. Katie and Tom met at work on a job were they "protect and serve" us...another reason to have complete admiration for these two. We loved hearing the stories of how they met but both had a significant other at the time, but always thought the other was "cute". Things happen for a reason, and God had a bigger plan for these two....a plan that led them to this beautiful amazing day!

The day started bright and early for me (Lisa), I had the pleasure of meeting Katie and capturing some of the gorgeous moments of her getting her make up done. It was a blast, her make up artist was a complete sweet heart (and a fellow inspiring Photog). I thought Katie was a stunner the first time we met her, but on her Wedding day...Wowzer!!

I love her reaction to seeing herself....so darn cute!!

Then I headed with Katie over to her parents gorgeous home. Once I met her family I immediately knew where Katie gets her "extra special something" from. Her parents and sisters and the whole family was so very welcoming. We ate lunch, talked photography and details of the day. I have never felt so completely welcomed...it was awesome!

Katie's GORGEOUS dress....which Kelly and I agree, totally was "her"! A classic beauty.

We loved that Katie chose to get ready at her parents home surrounded by just her immediate family. Having her two sisters help her get ready was so wondrous to watch.

Gurrrllll, you go on with your gorgeous self!!

While I was hanging with the ladies, Kelly was hanging with some GOR-geous men!
