Courtney & Ted - Engagement

Courtney & Ted's engagement shoot took place on a cold windy day right after Thanksgiving. We had so much fun with these two and it made us super excited for their May wedding :) I (Lisa) have known Court all her life. Her mom is my mom's very best friend. I remember babysitting her and her brother...watching her grow up. Going to the jewelery show in Illinois with her mom, grandma and my mom...oh and sometimes my friend Carolyn too :) So to see her with such an amazing guy like Ted, makes me happy. I know her family loves Ted and after meeting him it was easy to see why.

Here they are...the fun, adorable selves :)

Oh, and aren't you jealous of Courtney's big brown eyes....I know I am :) (Oh and she got those from her momma)

Love this one...sweet nothings or a funny joke whispered in her ear :)

We love that they brought their fur babies along for the shoot. Such well behaved pups and they will be making an appearance at the wedding...so fun!

A little "occupational humor". We will just say that they both have jobs that we are in awe of and are thankful for their duty and sacrifices.

The bling! Good job Ted :)

We adore you two and can not wait until May. You are going to have the
most amazing day and we can't wait to be there to capture every moment.
Hugs!!

Kelly & Doug - Part 2 :):)

It was off to Forest Park for the second part of Kelly & Doug's wonderfully amazing day.  They are both runners, and Forest Park is one of their favorite spots to run.  And, even some rather brisk weather conditions couldn't affect what we were able to capture of them, and their family and friends. We even got to visit the exact spot where Doug "popped the question" :)

This was a first for us . . . we have never had a Bride & Groom do any kind of "smack-down", and I was actually surprised these turned-out pretty well.  We were both laughing so hard, that we thought they would all be ruined from camera shake.  lol!! Lucky for us they were not, and we have these to tell the story of this positively hilarious moment!

Kelly made such a stunning Bride.

And Doug thought he wasn't photogenic.....he was so wrong, are we right ladies??!? *wink wink*

These two were just so incredibly easy to photograph, they are so crazy in love....it makes everything they do just beautiful.

Our final wedding of 2011 also granted us the present of the most amazingly beautiful sunset we had seen all year.

After the park, we headed to Washington Ave. for some outdoor shots, and their reception location of Windows on Washington!

We had literally been dying with anticipation to be able to get this shot with those Holiday lights criss-crossing Washington behind them, and wha-la here you have our perspectives ;)

Time to get the party started, and what a party it was!! A great time was had by all.

Kelly & Doug, we would officially like to request an application to be a part of your "Inner Circle."  We absolutely love your friends, and we were wondering what it takes to be part of the gang?! lol

Doug & Kelly,
Wow! What a way to wrap up our record year of Weddings. We enjoyed
every single moment of your day. Kelly and I literally could feel the amount of love
that surrounded you two on that day. It was a complete honor, thank you so much for asking
 us to be your Photographers.
We know you will have the most amazing life together.
All our best!!
Lisa & Kelly
