When Brandy and Eric booked with us a year ago, we pretty much said our outside picture taking would be up to the gods. We all know how St. Louis weather can be, and in January that can mean just about anything.
Well we got the very good side of that "anything" on Brandy and Eric's Big Day. We had wonderfully mild temperatures, just a wee bit of chill in the air, and mostly clear skies. Yes, it was a dream for their early January wedding, and it made our day with them that much more enjoyable.
We began at Wash. U. with their "First Look", and then headed to Blueberry Hill in the Loop for a quick cocktail at one of their favorite hangouts, before heading to their ceremony and reception at Spazios.
Oh, I have to give a shout out to my long-time friend Trasey (she's the Maid of Honor - dark brown hair), who sent Brandy and Eric our way. Can't thank you enough for sending us this super nice and fun couple :)
We had one awesome January day with a very fun wedding party. It was the perfect beginning of our 2012 Wedding Year :)
And now . . . The First Look . . .Brandy and Eric's first look was one of our absolute favorites. We loved how the wedding party was there, it felt like such a sweet intimate moment with all of their favorite people. Plus their reactions to each other...so sweet. We had to post a lot of pictures of this moment because it was so endearing.
We love the pops of red that Brandy chose, we think it compliments the winter skies and lighting so well.
Everyone needs a little "Captain" :)
