Courtney & Ted - Part 1 :)

Oh how we adore Courtney & Ted. They are just all around amazing people. Courtney was an extremely laid back Bride (our favorite kind of Bride) :)

Ted is such a gentleman and he is cr-azy about his Courtney. Courtney is the type of person who is always thinking of others. They are going to have a fabulous marriage

Their Wedding day took place at Chaumette Winery & Villas in St. Genevieve. It was a first time visit for Kelly and I and to say we were thrilled to be shooting there is an understatement. The villa that Courtney and the girls got ready in was completely stunning. Kelly and I think we need to make a trip back there soon (girls weekend) :)

Here are some of our favorite moments of the first half of the day....... 

Courtney's dress was just perfect for her. Everything about it was the perfect match and it fit her like a glove. She was an absolute stunning Bride!!

Ted wasn't looking too shabby himself :)

We love the color choices, the beautiful yellow sunflowers just popped against the girls super cute blue dresses. Courtney's bouquet of peonies.....swoon, I drool anytime I see peonies.

Courtney with her beautiful mom. I think it was mentioned in the engagement shoot of these two that Courtney's mom is my moms best friend. I have known Courtney all of her life and to see her with someone as awesome as Ted is a wonderful thing. But being there with Kelly to capture their love for each other, very very special to me.

Handsome guys...and we LOVED that their beloved pooches were also groomsman and bridesmaid. Sweet touch.

Here comes the darling bridesmaids...

Love the emotion....a little nerves and a choked back tear for Dad.

Teds partner was killed in the line of duty and they had a moment of silence, prayer and released these balloons in his honor. It was so incredibly touching and there was not a dry eye in sight.

Allison & Zac - Engaged :)

Allison and Zac, well let's state the obvious.....they are adorable!! Allison is the sister of my (Lisa's)  friend Sarah, and we are also getting the chance to shoot Sarah's Wedding in June. Two sisters in one year...we love it!

Allison and Zac are a dream couple to work with, we loved spending the evening with them and getting to know them better. It was quite the night, our session was on the same night as "Hail from Hell" :) We had plans to visit Chandler Hill Winery, we arrived to find it closed early for a wedding...we were able to rock out about 20 minutes of pictures before rain started. So, we drive on looking for another option, ended up at Klondike Park (which was the perfect back up spot) right at the same time tornado sirens sounded. It was scary, but luckily Zac put our fears at ease after a quick check of the Doppler on his phone. It appeared that the storms were a little bit from us. Oh and to end the night we almost ran out of gas....yeah never a dull moment with Lisa & Kelly :)

We continued on and had a great shoot and got some of our very favorite engagement pics to date.
