Kevin & Sarah's After "The Big Day" Shoot



Kevin & Sarah got married in a beautiful beach wedding that took place in Florida. They wanted to celebrate with their friends and family who weren't able to be there with them. So they had a wonderful reception here in St. Louis. Kelly and I were really looking forward to spending a few hours with them and their wonderful Best Man & Matron of Honor before their "party". We had the best time and got some of our favorite photos to date.  :)

Kate & Chris - Part Two

Here is a glimpse at the "part two" of the amazing Wedding of Kate and Chris. The second part was full of fun, family, friends...and wine :) This venue was great for these two who love to celebrate and have fun! We laughed a lot and felt more like we were guest than "working". That is a testament to the fabulous people that surround this stellar couple.

I wanted to post a "Family" pic....because this is a perfect example of how gorgeous "outdoor" family photos can be. We nail the alter Church pictures everytime, but we have to say our hearts are happy when we are able to get those family members outdoors into the beautiful light :)

OH Chris, go on with your silly self :) He has the best sense of humor, it is no wonder people gravitate towards him...he is a BLAST to be around :)

We LOVED Kate's florals and how they were different and unique in a beautiful way.

Amber & Chad - Engagement Shoot

The first time I met Chad was about 3 years ago when he contacted me to take pictures of him and his brother for their parents Christmas present. I was immediately impressed by what an awesome and mature guy he was for such a young age. He has accomplished quite a bit and one of his biggest accomplishments will be coming next August when he makes Amber his Bride :)

Kelly and I were so very lucky to have been there, waiting in the wings, when Chad popped the question. He once again realized the importance of photos and arranged for us to be there when he proposed (you can check out the proposal post in the Archives).

Chad and Amber traveled a LONG long way from Collinsville IL out to Chesterfield MO for this shoot. We LOVE them for that...but we feel like this locations and the more "secluded" spots we scoped out for them fit them to a T. We had so much fun, they are a super sweet couple who are incredibly easy to photograph. Win Win for us :)

Chad and Amber had a rough few months, they lost 2 very important people to them in tragic accidents. We could feel how coping with that kind of loss has brought them closer...you can feel their love in these images.
By the way, they shopped the night before....running through the Mall at lighting speed picking out what to wear. We think they rocked it!

Oh yeah! We have the coolest clients on the planet! We know how incredibly lucky we are.

Yep, Chad has the most bitchin' motorcycle (yep, I just used the word bitchin' circa 1992)!! Sooooo glad  he brought it along for the shoot. It was the perfect prop!

thankful you chose us to document the "big celebration" in August of next year!

We still wish we could come with you and be there to see you say "I Do"

on a beautiful sunny beach :)
