Lillian & Brian - Part Two

Lillian & Brian...gosh, I have been sitting here trying to come up with words that are significant enough to describe what a wonderful couple and just down right wonderful people they are. The amount of love that surrounded them that day was astonishing. It is a day that Kelly and I will not soon forget. :)

We started part two of the day with a few photos at Church. This is Lillian & Brian's "home Church" and it is very special to them, so we wanted to make sure we took some time to get a few creative shots there before we headed out for the rest of the day.

Love this set of Lillian and her parents right after the recessional. Kelly & I have discussed before that you can tell a lot about a person by how they hug...and Lillian hugs with her whole heart...and she hugs often, something we noticed a lot of that day :)

We found this little nook with the most amazing light....it also gave them some private moments to take in the fact that they are "MARRIED"!!!

Taking advantage of the interior of the this gorgeous old Church.

We headed to Lafayette Square where the fun really began :) Work it Brian...work it :)

Beautiful wedding party (the majority were family)...and LOVE their choice of colors, grey and pink..yummy!

Look at that eye candy....love men in tuxes :)

And the ladies were pretty spectacular too!

Lillian was carrying our favorite flowers...peonies. We also love the bracelet that once belonged to Lillian's Grandmother and the beaded wrap that encased the steams of her flowers, which was also her Grandmother's.

Stunning....just stunning. Lillian has such an old Hollywood vibe, just a classic beauty.

It was hot....they deserved a little "beverage time" :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE....that's all there is to say about that.....

AH-Mazing capture by Kelly.

Lillian surprised Brian with this classic Bentley. She had it show up at our last stop (The Old Post Office) and it then took us to the Church that her Grandparents were members of (now on the Historical Register). She also has some family buried there.

The fantastic old Church which made for a fantastic back-drop.

Bling on a Bentley...what's not to love :)

Then it was off to the PARTY....the reception took place at The Randall Gallery. We loved all the fantastic art and also the wonderful details that Lillian & Brian added to the day, like the seating chart on old window panes.

Lillian & Brian,
We can't thank you enough for the kindness and friendship
you showed us through out your day. Your love for each other is so
inspirational. We know that you are going to have a blessed
life together and we are honored that we were there to witness
the beginning of it!
Many thanks,
Lisa & Kelly

And we have to give a BIG OLE shout out to our girl Melissa Fann for sending
Brian & Lillian our way. It is our luck that your a rock star photographer and you
were busy on their wedding day. Cheers our friend!

Lillian & Brian - Part 1!!!

What a day . . .

Lillian and Brian came to us via the fabulous Melissa Fann.  She's one of our favorites in the biz, she's an amazing photog, and to fill her shoes was an honor that we were happy to accept!

Their Wedding took place in Maplewood, at Immaculate Conception, a church that resembles some of the amazing churches in Europe.  Stunningly beautiful stained glass, marble columns, statues of the Saints, arches throughout the building, and a beautiful bell tower . . . A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!  Our day's backdrop also consisted of sunny blue skies and billowy clouds.  It was pretty much perfect from beginning to end.

The other factor that made this day dreamy perfection - The People.  From Lillian and Brian, their parents and their siblings, their extended family members, and their guests, we adored everyone we interacted with throughout the day.  This was positively delightful from the first click of the shutter to the packing up of our gear :)

Enjoy your glimpse of the first part of their day!!!!

How about that marble, stained-glass and arches?!?!?!

Adored this shot of both Moms helping Lillian get dressed.

Lillian's sister won the adoration of the Bride and Bridesmaids with these antique handkerchiefs that she hand embroidered for them.

Two of the cutest little flower girls ever!

 The Boys in Waiting

Yes, we had to capture those stained glass details.  Such a marvel and so stunning . . .

The Bag-Piper was a surprise from Lillian and Brian to their parents, and was a superb finale to their nuptials!!!

Dear Lillian & Brian,

We can't stop gushing over your day.  You gave us
an unbelievable experience, and one that we are still
recalling moments from!  We can't wait for you to see
the remainder of your incredible day.
We will be in-touch next week when we post it.

Hugs,
Kelly & Lisa
