Jake and Jess were our first July wedding, and was it nothing short of spectacular. We had picture perfect skies, amazing venues, stunning details, and the awesome architecture of downtown St. Louis for a backdrop. We also had a wedding party that was a delight to be around. No complaining about heat, or the number of locations we shot at. It was an absolutely great day from beginning to end!
Looking gorgeous! Jess's hair and make-up artists were some of our favorites. She looked so amazing!
Jess gave each of her Bridesmaids a green brooch to wear on her dress, they were each different....such a neat gift.
Loved this shot we got of Jess' Mom talking on the phone while watching her daughter in the make-up chair. One can only imagine what was going through her mind.
Jake had a letter for Jess that was so beautifully written, she did such a great job holding back the tears. I think she just had to wipe one or two away...and she was extremely touched by his gesture.
Love this moment of Jess and her Dad in prayer right before she headed downstairs for her first look of her Groom. Ummm, we also love the little blue bag...which was a sweet gift from her Dad. :)
We loved the touch of green that was added to the day's attire, and we were informed
that that was Jake's contribution to the day! LOL
Jake & Jess were another one of our couple's that opted for "The First Look".
And, we both agree that these moments are a real treat to capture. It was an extra special touch that Jess had her Dad "give her away" to Jake during the first look.
